The Web Site Committee
The Website Committee is charged with the responsibility of maintaining the Church webspace. They need to have those parts with dated material updated in a timely manner (Church calendar, Session and Deacon lists, seasonal activities, etc) and the rest of the site changed enough so that repeating visitors will not become bored with site content.
The Committee will:
- Design the layout and content of the pages,
- Design the links between pages,
- Determine links to non-Good Shepherd pages,
- Maintain a file of 'model releases' for individuals identified in
featured photographs ('news' pictures require no releases),
- Have the pages coded to allow reasonably correct viewing by most web browsers.
(Coding need not be done by a committee member.)
The current Web Design is coded with a 600 by 800 pixel screen in mind.
