Daris is originally from South Dakota and graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in Political Science and Public Administration. He was a Legislative Aid with the Commerce Committee, U. S. Senate. He received his Master of Divinity degree in June 1990 from Princeton Teological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey, and is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry degree from Louisville Theologivcal Seminary, Louisville Kentucky. Prior to accepting the call of Good Shepherd in April of 1998, he was Pastor of Melrose Carmel Presbyterian Church in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Before that he was a Student Intern at Warminster Presbyterian Church in Warminster, Pennsylvania.
